WHITE ON WHITE 

White on White: where my journey began with pinpricks and paper.

 

I began working this way while in my last year of art school. It started as drawing, which is probably why I describe my process as drawing still to this day, and evolved into these stark but intricate pieces. From 2014 until 2020 my work was completely white and I was able to explore the process and push the boundaries within it. It took me from remote islands into busy interchanges, through deserts, mountains, glaciers, geometric works and finally to waves where I was able to play around with the shapes and shadows that could be made through my process.
