As much as I love my completely white on white pieces I have always been trying to find some way of introducing colour into my work without it looking, in my opinion, terrible and finally during 2020 I had my *eureka!* moment. I love what colour can do to a piece and the character it can give. How I decide what colour to use has may factors. As my work is based on aerial imagery a lot of the time the colours will reflect the landscape which the piece has come from but others come from my mood or my inspiration while i'm creating the piece. I make sure I use the colour that feels 'right'.
